The Birthing Kit Foundation
The ‘Birthing Kit Foundation’ is a charity that creates and distributes birthing kits that consist of the basic supplies required for childbirth. Over 300,000 women and 3 million newborns die each year from child baring in rural and remote areas who don’t have access to doctors or hospitals.
We will be hosting an assembly day where the birthing kits will be packed first hand by the team at SBD and we extend an invitation to friends, family and patients who wish to participate.
The assembly day will be held at the practice on Saturday 11th May 2019 from 2pm where we will be packing over 300 kits.
There is a $50 donation required per person which will go towards the kits themselves as well as adding to the existing funds from our sales from our Champagne Breakfast raffle money that also is contributing to the cause.
If you wish to participate please contact our Practice Manager Des who will provide you with further details. You may send us a DM on our socials, email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (02) 9699 5199.
The birthing Kit Foundation is a charity that Dr Kimberly Ivett has been supporting for many years.
